Sun shower

We had a lovely sun shower this morning. I stood on out patio and watched as rain pelted the pool and the sun shone brightly to the east. Over the lagoon there were darker clouds and the sky looked textured.

How exciting I just saw that  Emily337 [who is volunteering in Nicaragua] linked back to my Little Differences post on her resourcefulness and ingenuity post – funny timing as I am working on today’s La Vida Idealist post and when I went back to my notes earlier to start building my piece -  I had marked down about linking back to Emily337′s The Highs…and the Lows post from last week and how it related to what I was writing this week.

I have to say writing for La Vida Idealist has been a bit of a challenge in a good way. It has been interesting to have someone besides myself or occasionally Paul have a say on my writing before it goes to post – today I asked Mitch for her opinion along the way. Celeste the La Vida editor  has done a great job of giving her input and helping me to push myself a little bit further.

This week brought on a whole new challenge in addition to focusing on my writing. I had a file saved of pre-sized stock that Paul had done for me and each week I could draw from there but for some reason this week it is missing. Back to a bit more searching and working on my writing.

More rain this afternoon with gray skies and I am sure more rainy season puddles came with the showers. It was a good thing we tag teamed getting the clean towels inside before they got wet.

Was messing around on photofunia today and came up with the pic below. It was supposed to be animated and flip between 4 pages in the book but it did not seem to work – I liked the look so I decided to post it anyways.
